The Roseland Rotary Club's $1 million Hole-in-One contest, benefiting The Salvation Army Kroc Center, happens Saturday June 8th. Golfers can sign up to play at one of eight area courses. The costs are $1 a shot or $20 for 25 shots. The qualifying distance is 100 yards. The top 10 participants that hit closest-to-the-pin at each course move on to the semi-finals. Golf courses include: Knollwood Country Club, Morris Park Country Club, Blackthorn Topgolf Swing Suite, Notre Dame Burke, Eberhart-Petro, Elbel, Erskine Park, & Juday Creek.The semi-finals will be held at Notre Dame

Michiana Five for the Homeless will hold a water drive from 9 am. to 1 pm on Saturday, June 15, at Don Hollingsworth American Family Insurance parking lot, corner of Ewing and Miami in South Bend, and Barnaby's Pizza parking lot, corner of Grape and Edison, Mishawaka. The non-profit agency will collect water and sports drinks to distribute to the homeless this summer.
