  • Fire at Warsaw Chemical plant ruled to be accidental

    An investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal concluded last month's fire at Warsaw Chemical was an accident.Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer issued a statement Wednesday revealing the findings of the investigation launched into the Feb. 6 fire on the 200 block of Argonne Rd. Officials believe that the fire originated in the center of the Warsaw Chemical plant and was accidental.

    Another business has issued a recall for the potential contamination of listeria. Superior Foods, Inc. is recalling 8.475 cases if Simply Balanced 10-oz Frozen Organic Chopped Spinach. A release from the FDA said the spinach suppliers for the company may have received organic spinach with the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
