  • Nursing home death investigation to be turned over to prosecutors today

    The police investigation into a nursing home resident killed in Bridgman over the weekend will be turned over to prosecutors today. Bridgman Police the report and paperwork they have collected in their investigation into the death of 83-year-old Floyd Perham, who died Sunday of head injuries after being shoved to the ground by another resident at the West Woods of Bridgman Nursing Home, will be submitted to the Berrien County Prosecutor's Office for Review for a charging decision.

  • Elkhart County Sheriff's Department requests public assistance in locating man wanted for possession of methamphetamine

    The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department is looking for public assistance in locating a man wanted on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. A news release from the department said David Coulson is the wanted man.

    A jury finds a Flint, Michigan teenager guilty of first degree murder for gunning down two men and a young boy.The judge convicted Deonte Gray for July 2013 shooting.Police say the killings started after a dispute between Gray and one of the victims at an apartment.No sentence has been announced yet but Gray could spend the rest of his life in Prison.He is due in front of a judge in March.
