    Ring in the holidays for free – with the Humane Society of Elkhart County. On Wednesday, November 26, 2014, there will be a screening of “Elf” on the big screen at the Lerner Theatre (410 S. Main Street) in Elkhart from 11am to 1pm. To get into the movie, all you have to do is make a donation (either supplies or money) to the humane society. On Sunday, December 7, 2014, from 11am to 3pm, you can shop at the Red Barn ReSale Shop.

  • TRANSPO announces long-term detour for route #17

    TRANSPO riders, take note of this: TRANSPO (the South Bend Public Transportation Corporation) has announced that beginning Monday, November 24, 2014, a long-term detour will take effect for Route #17, The Sweep. The detour is because of the construction taking place at Notre Dame Stadium, and is expected to last several years. The Sweep route offers access to the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary's College, University Village, and Eddy Street Commons.
