  • TRANSPO announces long-term detour for route #17

    TRANSPO riders, take note of this: TRANSPO (the South Bend Public Transportation Corporation) has announced that beginning Monday, November 24, 2014, a long-term detour will take effect for Route #17, The Sweep. The detour is because of the construction taking place at Notre Dame Stadium, and is expected to last several years. The Sweep route offers access to the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary's College, University Village, and Eddy Street Commons.

    We first met Aaron Mishler the day before he left to Liberia. He's been volunteering as a nurse to help stop the Ebola outbreak. Leaving behind his father, a disabled Vietnam vet, and his pregnant girlfriend. During Sunday night's broadcast, he was working a night shift at the Ebola Treatment Unit.

  • Trail Creek Police say alleged stabbing leaves Michigan City man dead

    A man is dead in LaPorte County from what police say is an alleged stabbing. It happened just before 1:00pm on Sunday afternoon at 105 Hummingbird Drive in Trail Creek. According to a press release, police say a machete was found at the scene stuck in the ground.
