  • Notre Dame screens controversial film about campus rape

    Notre Dame officials confirmed they are under investigation by the Department of Education. The department is looking into the school's complaint process for sexual harassment. The investigation comes at an ironic time - April is sexual assault awareness month. Tonight the school held two screenings of "The Hunting Ground" - a documentary about campus rape and it hits close to home. 

  • Dowagiac Police Department searching for people who shot school buses with pellet gun

    Leader Publications report the Dowagiac Police are looking for suspects who allegedly shot school buses with a pellet gun. A Marcellus Public Schools bus was dropping off a Dowagiac student and had a window shot out of it. A Dowagiac Union Schools bus was similarly hit.

  • Niles music store celebrates Record Store Day

    Leader Publications report Rumor Has It in downtown Niles is celebrating Record Store Day this Saturday. It's a day dedicated to vinyl. Matt Shaver, owner of Rumor Has It, says this is the second year they're participating. Local bands will perform at the store and specially released albums will be available.
