Join us for our Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM! The event is family-friendly, free, and open to the public. Stop by our Adopt-A-Tree tent and pick up a free tree! Join us at 11 AM as we begin our habitat restoration activity by removing invasive plants from our onsite habitats. At 12 PM, we will finish up by planting native trees in the freshly cleared areas. Guided tree hikes will be offered throughout the event. There will also be coloring activities, games, puppets, and more in our Learning Loft for kids! At 12:00 PM our Spring Seeds & Starters Exchange will start--bring your seeds and healthy seedlings and exchange them for different ones! City departments, such as Aquatics, Engineering, and the EEC will also have booths at the event where you can learn more about the benefits of trees as well as what the departments do.
