The 2023 Leeper Park Art Fair will take place June 17-18 at Leeper Park, Riverside Drive and Michigan St. in South Bend. Fair hours are Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm. Admission is free. Leeper Park Art Fair was named among the top 100 art fairs in the country by Sunshine Artist Magazine in 2022. This year we welcome 81 fine artists from across the country, juried in a competitive selection process. Artists will present work in clay, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, fiber, sculpture and wood. Members of the St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society, which sponsors the event, will exhibit and sell their work in the SJVWS Members Tent . Judging will take place on Saturday, with prizes for Best in Show, Judge's Choice, and Merit Awards presented Sunday at 11:30am. The Fair will also feature local food trucks and disc jockey Jim Renner. The fair is accessible to all patrons, with artists' booths set along paved pathways. Riverside Drive will be closed to traffic during fair hours. Free parking with shuttle service from Century Center to Leeper Park will be available for fair patrons. The shuttle will run continuously during fair hours, dropping patrons off at the fair's main entrance on Park Lane. Free handicapped parking will also be available along Park Lane. Health and safety guidelines will be encouraged: social distancing, hand washing, and staying home if feeling ill.
