Carter’s Cancer Stomp

From 10:00AM to 12:00PM

5k color run/walk in honor of Carter King who passed away at the age of 6 from a rare brain tumor called DIPG. Register on the website for $40 which also includes a t-shirt and medal. Register by May 16th for guaranteed shirt size. This is going to be a fun event with blasts of color to go through, vendor booths, and a silent auction. It is not a timed race so go at your own pace and bring the family! Currently there is no cure for the horrible disease so all proceeds go towards research to find the cure. Currently the government only gives less then 4% of funds to pediatric cancer so it comes to the community to help save these children. They say it is a “rare” disease, but it has affected many children in our area including 3 kids just in Marshall County. There are currently no survivors of it as well.
