Anime Magic! is on a mission to bring the "magic" back to anime conventions! We’re always pushing the boundaries, and this year is no different. We’re getting WAY bigger, better, and more exciting for 2025! We're a convention by fans, for fans with a focus on FUN. This isn't your typical cookie-cutter convention! We have all the normal fanfare you've come to expect from other conventions, while pushing the bleeding edge of convention fun and interactivity even further. Mark your calendar – the South Bend International Airport's FREE Aviation Education Day 2025 is taking place on Saturday, August 23, from 9:00am – 1:00pm! It will be at the Studebaker Hangar, located at 4817 Lincoln Way West. We are looking forward to another extraordinary day jam-packed with all things aviation: aircraft displays, airfield tours, ground school, Young Eagles introductory flights*, games, arts & crafts, food trucks**, a career/job expo, and SO much more! Attendees can park for free in the long-term parking lot and receive validation cards upon entry to the event. Signage can be followed to the event entrance from the airport parking lots. Scouts from all councils can also take part in activities throughout the day to earn their Aviation Merit Badge. Scouts should arrive at 9:00am and will have a separate entrance from the general public. They must be accompanied by a troop leader or parent/guardian. We can’t wait to welcome you back to our airfield for our 7th annual day of unforgettable aviation fun! It’s time to step back into history at the Michiana Renaissance Festival! Join us at the St. Joseph County 4H Fairgrounds in South Bend where you will see a variety of exciting shows. Music, jousting, acrobats, magic, live steel and much more! With four reenactment areas for you to explore, including Time of the Vikings, Golden Age of Piracy, Renaissance/Medieval and Fairytale/Storyland there is something for everyone! There are children’s activities including the famous “boffer ring,” Indiana Wild (mini zoo), storytellers, puppet show and of course the Queen’s Quest! Lots of food and drink options for you to enjoy too!

Join us for our 12th Annual Beer & Wine Walk on Saturday, August 23rd from 5 - 9 pm EDT. Sample wine and beer at several local restaurants and businesses in New Carlisle and Hudson Lake. This is a 21 and over event. Tickets are $35.00 for drinkers and $15 for designated drivers. Purchase tickets ahead of time and pick up wristbands the day of the event at the New Carlisle Fire Station, 204 E. Michigan Street starting at 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm. You can also purchase them in person the day of. You will need your ID. You will receive a sample cup with your wristband. Trolleys will be available for transportation.
