This summer, YMCA of Greater Michiana invites the public to experience movement, mindfulness, and community connection at Jean Klock Park Pavilion in Benton Harbor. From June 8 through August 28, the Y will host free outdoor fitness classes for people of all ages and fitness levels, with a view of Lake Michigan. Weekly class offerings include WERQ on Mondays, Les Mills BodyBalance™ on Tuesdays, and Yoga Moves on Wednesdays. These classes are part of the YMCA’s Community Wellness initiative, focused on making health and wellness more accessible to everyone. No registration or YMCA membership is required, and free parking is included. Participants are encouraged to bring water and a towel or yoga mat. Student Orientation Session for newly enrolled students: We'll cover everything you need to know for a great start, including Academics, Attendance, Dress Code, and our Learning Management System. We'll also give you a tour of the campus and classrooms so you know exactly where you're going, and we'll help you set up your new laptop. We try to have some fun, too! Originally opened in 2010 in Granger, the Ross Medical Education Center South Bend campus relocated to its current home in the commerce district of northern Mishawaka in 2025.
